The Blythe & Watchorn Team completed our bathroom renovation at 9 Duke Street in June 2024.
We had previously engaged them for a larger operation completed in October 2020, which involved the addition to existing building of a new brick garage with sun room and open deck to adjoin existing dining room. An internal lift was installed from the garage to the sun-room and steps provided into an existing cellar. The external brickwork was expertly matched to the 1920’s work of the original home.
As on the previous occasion our bathroom was finished in a timely and efficient fashion.
The initial quotes were helpful and the building timeline maintained.
The original bathroom was old 1960’s style and required total gutting, strengthening of floor joists, new floor, waterproofing, re-plumbing, complete electrical re-wiring, installation of walk in shower recess with glass enclosure requiring a 220 degree swing glass door, tiling and painting.
The Team is to be commended for high professional standards and we would certainly use their services if required in the future.

We have recently had Rob and his team replace our front fence and gates.
This is the second project Rob has done for us on our heritage listed house in South Hobart.
We are so happy with the work Blythe & Watchorn did for us seven years ago, I asked Rob if he would be interested in replacing our fence.
Heritage Tasmania required a like for like copy of the original colonial style wooden fence and gates and Rob put a lot of effort into sourcing the best timbers to use.
Mitch the project manager has done a fantastic job, the joinery and construction is outstanding.
The team Rob uses are a delight to work with and Rob’s weekly tally sheets and very detailed quote made the whole process as pleasing and stress free this time as it was when Blythe& Watchorn first worked with us.
