This renovation of a Tasmanian family home was negotiated and designed by Blythe & Watchorn Builders, from concept to completion. The brief provided was to upgrade the house to cater for a large family and create spaces that worked. The renovation includes an addition to house the family and dining areas, an ensuite and wardrobe off the existing master bedroom, a large garage, an alfresco entertainment area with an opening roof, and a courtyard at the rear.

It was the first renovation the family had undertaken and they loved the process. All colour choices and selections were carefully considered.

The client is thrilled with the end result, as are we, so the decision has been made to enter this project into the HIA Housing Awards.
